Ohio's State Board of Education has granted Washington Middle School the 2016, 2017, 2018, and 2019 Momentum Award. The Momentum Award recognizes schools that have received A's on every value-added measure included on the Ohio State Report Card.  

It is the mission of Washington Middle School to create an environment that develops within our students the skills, attitudes, ethics, and knowledge necessary to become contributing, responsible members of our community.

 

Washington Middle School is home to approximately 500 students in grades 6-8. Our staff consists of two administrators, two guidance counselors, 34 Highly Qualified teachers, 2 Title I specialists and 11 support staff. We are extremely proud of our academic rigor which prepares our students for the next level and of our school's involvement within the Washington Court House Community.
