Remote Learners 4th Quarter Commitment

March 1, 2021

Dear Parents of Virtual Students,

As you are well aware, this year has been a challenge for all of us. As schools across America offer a virtual option for students with health concerns during the pandemic, it has become increasingly apparent that many students are staying home because of comfort or convenience in their particular situation.

I want to assure you that Washington Court House City Schools is safe from COVID19 and we have collected data that has shown that those students who are in-person are being more successful academically and socially; also we have the resources to assist with any mental health needs of the students, as well.

With all this being said, I am asking all parents of virtual students to consider sending your child(ren) back during fourth quarter so that we can end the year, academically, on the highest possible level for all students!!

I do acknowledge that the pandemic is not over; however, the number of COVID positive students and quarantines have been decreasing significantly for the past eight weeks in our district.

IT IS TIME TO COME BACK TO SCHOOL!

Yours in Education,

Dr. Tom Bailey
