The Big Blue Bus Is back on the road for 2026!

Children (ages 1–18) are eligible for a free grab and go lunch and breakfast on Monday through Friday. Start date is June 1 through July 31, except July 3 and the week of the Fayette County Fair July 20-24.

DISCLAIMERS:

Washington Court House Schools is approved to provide grab and go meals to children in eligible rural areas. Eligible participants include children ages 18 and under or persons 19 and over who are mentally or physically disabled and participating in a public or private nonprofit school program for the mentally or physically disabled.

Per program regulations, Washington Court House Schools may allow parents or a designated guardian to pick up meals on behalf of children. A designated guardian may include another adult, such as a grandparent or babysitter functioning as the child's caretaker; or siblings, that have documented permission by the parent or legal guardian to pick up meals for the child. Childcare providers and individuals not listed on this form may not pick up meals for a child. If the child is present at the meal pick up, no special permissions are required.

Meals are provided free of charge daily (M-F) from, May 27, 2025 through August 1, 2025 (NO MEALS July 4 & FAIR WEEK July 14-18, 2025. Each grab and go meal box will contain ONE LUNCH & ONE BREAKFAST.

Washington Court House City Schools is participating in the Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) from May 27, 2025, through August 1, 2025, Monday through Friday. Meals will be provided to all children without charge, ages 1-18, regardless of race, color, national origin, sex (including gender identity and sexual orientation, age or disability and there will be no discrimination during the course of the meal service. In December of 2022, a Consolidated Appropriations Act was signed, allowing rural areas to offer "grab and go" meals in the summer programs.

A lunch and breakfast meal (for the next day) "Grab & Go" will be distributed at the sites and times as above.
