In a world where it seems like everything is changing, there is one thing that won’t change: we are here for you and our community.
WCHCS will continue to Engage, Inspire, and Grow all Blue Lions in an innovative and effective way, not bound by time, space, or environment.
WCHCS LEARNING RECOVERY and EXTENDED LEARNING PLAN:
On February 9, 2021, Governor DeWine asked schools and districts to work with their communities and educational stakeholders to help students continue to advance academically and to make up for any learning that may have been lost or delayed due to the coronavirus pandemic and related disruptions.
Governor DeWine has requested that schools and districts design plans that address learning recovery and extended learning opportunities to meet the needs of students that could include, but are not limited to, extending the current school year, beginning the new year early, extending the school day or instituting summer programs, tutoring, remote options, and other remedial or supplemental activities.

WCHCS COVID-19 UPDATES:
WCHCS will post an update on social media each Thursday afternoon around 2 PM stating our active cases across the district and any other pertinent information regarding COVID-19. This is to provide our community with the most up-to-date information as Governor DeWine's addresses school district and county levels across the state each week at the same time.
Outside of the weekly update, WCHCS will also post on social media in the event that any major change is made, such as an adjustment in the regular day schedule for a grade/building/district.
Families will be notified of each new case in their student's building by a written letter sent home with students as directed by the Ohio Department of Health.
