Enter OSBA's Student Video Contest

Now accepting entries for the 6th annual OSBA Stand Up for Public Schools Student Video Contest!

It’s time to get your creative juices flowing with your school and/or district’s video production team(s) and enter OSBA’s annual Stand Up for Public Schools Student Video Contest. The contest is part of OSBA’s Stand Up for Public Schools promotional campaign, and it's free to enter! Click here to download the contest rules and entry materials. More information is also available atwww.ohioschoolboards.org/osba-student-video-contest.

The contest is open to public high school students in OSBA-member districts. Public high schools are invited to submit a video (maximum length is 90 seconds) that conveys the contest’s theme. Junior high schools with designated video production programs are also eligible to participate. The format is up to students, but no professional assistance can be provided to produce the video(s). The top 3 videos will win cash prizes for their respective schools’ video production program. The winning video will also be shown during a General Session at the 2017 OSBA Capital Conference in November.

Last year, a record-setting 67 videos were entered by Ohio students expressing their thoughts and ideas on how public schools make a difference. We hope to have even more entries this year! The submission deadline is Oct. 6, 2017. We hope to see your videos in October!
